Needle Work Exhibition
Convent of Jesus and Mary, Dehra Dun

is a haven for all those students who aspire for a, well-developed personality. From the very beginning, the school has been stressing on co-curricular activities as an essential element in the development of future homemakers and career women, as envisaged by our Foundress St. Claudine. The activities encourage individuals to work with others and for others.
Annual features like fetes, excursions, picnics, flower arrangements, rangoli, debates, elocutions, sports day, science symposia & workshop, dramatics and departmental presentations are high points in every academic session.

CJM
is one of the few schools, which still stresses on the importance of dexterity in Needlework and Craft.

At morning assembly the girls wait eagerly for announcements of names of winners of various Inter School competitions – ranging from tournaments, quizzes, debates, elocutions, science fests to music, dance and mathematical ability. Trophies and shields regularly make their way into the glass cases adorning the school office. National days and festivals are also celebrated ith fervour and excitement.

Quite a number of the school activities are geared toward developing a sense of social service. Collection and distribution of items in neighboring old-age homes, leper colonies or homes for the physically or mentally challenged, are a regular feature.

Guidance and Counseling: To equip students with the skill to cope with modern day challenges and to embrace a career by choice, the school provides for Career Guidance and Personal Counseling.
